Il s'est fait attendre mais enfin le voilà...NOUVEL ARTICLE DEPUIS PEKIN!!

Ca y est les amis! Je suis bien arrivée à PEKIN, capitale de la Chine!!
Et je dois dire que Tianjin à côté, c'est un village! haha! Je me sens si petite et perdue ici, avec les quelques autres 20 millions d'habitants, Pekin est une véritable fourmilière géante!

J'ai d'ailleurs eu la joie de découvrir le METRO pékinois! Pas bien différent de Paris au niveau du monde qui circule, mais cela pue nettement moins à dire vrai! Il n'y a pas que mendiants circulant, et les lignes sont très récentes et toutes automatisées. Un petit plus que chez nous en France: ils diffusent des pubs à l'extérieur du train quand il circule dans le tunnel, c'est assez impressionnant, on se croirait dans le futur!

Maintenant côté université... me voilà arrivée à RENMIN DAXUE où je suis loin d'être la seule étrangère sur le campus car cette uni est envahit par les CORÉENS! En effet, ils ont un partenariat d'échange et l'autre université de Corée possède aussi un propre bâtiment pour les chinois là-bas...et pour le reste alors? c'est direction "International Building". C'est là où je vis, dans le numéro 2, veuillez jeter un coup d'oeil ci-dessous:

Et bien sûr, j'ai décidé de vivre à la "dur" et donc de partager ma chambre avec quelqu'un...ADIEU INTIMITE! Ma pauvre roomate qui va devoir supporter mes chansons du soir et mes revenues nocturnes au bercail s'appelle LAURA (est-ce un signe??! hein Lolo si tu m'écoutes/me vois/m'entends!?) et débarque tout droit de Finlande. C'est à croire qu'ils ont mis les deux seules blondes du bâtiments ensemble! Elle est très gentille et discrète et à vrai dire la seule couille dans le rice pudding si je peux me permettre ce sont nos lits superposés qui datent de la fin des Qing et qui font un bruit insupportable! 

Vous m'excuserez de la qualité médiocre de la photo (ainsi que du bordel naissant)...ceci est juste pour vous donner un aperçu!

Et attention! Ne vaut mieux pas se lever trop tard car sinon on loupe la douche chaude! Et oui, mon bâtiment ne m'offre que l'eau chaude par session donc bien sûr le deuxième jour comme tout le monde me l'avait caché, je prends ma douche juste entre les deux heures où il n'y a que de l'eau congelée..résultat après 20 minutes de douche glaciale je me suis tapée une grosse crève, idéal pour commencer les cours en beauté! Ah oui, ai-je oublié de préciser que c'est une douche commune, donc le matin jme balade avec mon beau pijama rose et on se retrouve toutes les filles avec la tête dans le cululu ...belle image n'est-ce pas!? Je ne mentionnerai pas l'état de la cuisine car je ne peux même pas appeler cela ainsi! Personne ne s'en sert de toute façon puisqu'il y a tout un tas de cantines et restaurants sur le campus qui offrent des repas complets pour 12 kuai en moyenne... (environ 1,4 euros)...Donc c'est pas ce semestre que je vais me mettre aux fourneaux.

Mais mon bâtiment c'est first class à comparaison des bâtiments des étudiants chinois. Ils doivent partager la chambre à ...6! Et à plusieurs reprises je les ai vu faire la queue dehors en tongues et serviettes pour prendre leur douche, tellement ils sont nombreux Donc bon, j'en suis pas encore là alors je ne me plains pas hein!

La fameuse "tu shu guan"= bibliothèque du campus. Juste immense, et elle a été construite en seulement...6mois (24h/24h)! et oui les travailleurs chinois c'est pas un mythe!

Random facts and habits

(For my last day of internship I decided to write this article in English)

1) Could you imagine taking a midnight bath in "La Seine" in Paris???

In Paris, we'll never do that right? Or maybe after drinking too much on "le pont des arts" and accidently fall in the water (I hope this will never happen!) 

Well, last time I was passing by the bridge, enjoying the view of Tianjin by night and something dragged my attention: it is a bit like the game "where is Charlie"! 

Really, how can they do it? They were several swimming in the river, casual, with the boats almost running over them! Well, when I was walking on the path, I saw some dead fish and other rubbish floating nearby the shores and didn't feel like diving at all! 

2) Habits number 2: KTV

For those who ignore it, KTV stands for Karaoke TV, so people prepare your voice! It was quite an experience the first time I went there, we were a bunch of foreigners plus chinese. The place was quite luxury, and just before you enter in you private room (indeed, no body really wants to listen to your shitty performance), an hostess accompanies you to a sort of little market, gives you a trolley for you to buy some alcohol and snacks, then you follow her in the room and the party can start! 

A particular attention to Mike who amazed us with his singing in Chinese ...from begining to end! BRAVO

3) Fact number 3: DRINKING BEER

Don't dare thinking that Chinese people only drink "baijiu"白酒, alcohol made from rice, average of 40% of alcohol (at least!). No! They also enjoy beer so much, the most famous one is called Qingdao or Tsingdao, and I recently learnt from my friend Lucie Baimian that this beer has been created by the German who came in Qingdao, few centuries ago, interesting isn't it? But they also enjoy lagger, wheat and dark beers.

4) Fact n°4: Drawing Calligraphy on the street

I was so happy to see the man practising in front of me finally! Cause I always wake up in the morning and see, drawn in chalk, some chinese caracters on the ground. Yesterday I could see a man practising his hand writing, with a big brush, dipping it into a mix of oil and water. I was so glad and admirative and dared to ask him if I could draw one too, he generously accepted! 

I decided to draw the caracter 爱 ai (love). However, here is not mine, but his cause he told me mine was too big!! I know, my love to give is toooo big!!

But don't make any assumption! These men are not doing this to ask for money, they just draw on the public street to keep practising the art of calligraphy, a very noble art I should say.

5) Fact number 5: the chinese wedding...

Weddings are a big business in China, maybe more than in France as far as I know. Indeed, if you stroll in the centre of Tianjin, on the shopping areas you will see lots of wedding boutique, dedicated to pictures, wedding dress, catering ...etc 

I told you in my previous article about the Italian area, where the just married couples come to get there pictures. Looking faboulous is very important, and also for the bride to wear different outfits.

I accepted to participate in a shooting for wedding dress, and recently found myself on local TV in the advertisement...I tried to find the link on the Web but couldn't find so you'll just have to enjoy laughing at those pics following...please don't be so cruel!! I put the cheesy one, the worse I could find so that you can make the most of it!
